PhD Miguel Aboim Borges – ISMAT
Lecturer as a Visiting Professor at ISMAT – Instituto Superior Manuel Teixeira Gomes. Lecturer, as Invited Assistant Professor, at the Faculty of Architecture of U Lisboa, in the Department of Design 2014 -2024. Between 2017 – 2024 he taught the Dissertation / Project Seminar at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the U Lisbon in the Master’s Degree in Contemporary Editorial Typographic Practices. Member of CIAUD – Centre for Research in Architecture, Urbanism and Design. On a professional level, as Design Manager, he has worked in different Design and Advertising offices (Brandia, Brandnew, Bausform, …) and in Communication Consulting in Public Awareness offices (Koncept – Council in Communication and Public Awareness), in Architecture offices (Dimension 5), in the areas of communication, corporate and institutional advertising and in the production of Corporate Events. He has worked as Art Director and Producer for advertising agencies and advertising film companies (AMA, James Garrett, Abacate Filmes, RSCG, …) and feature films (Animatógrafo, Inforfilmes, MGN Filmes, …). He has collaborated as art director in television series and theater plays (Atlântida Studios, SP Filmes). As a freelance designer, he has developed interiors, corporate identity, graphic and marketing communications projects for different studios and companies. Has collaborated with magazines and newspapers in photography works.
