Cláudia Pernencar ESAD Caldas Rainha
Cláudia holds a Ph.D. in Digital Media from NOVA FCSH (Austin Texas University CoLab Program). She is a Professor at ESAD.CR, Polytechnic of Leiria, where she teaches Design for Health and Wellbeing, Translation Design, and Multimedia Design. As an ICNOVA/NOVA FCSH researcher, she has been collaborating with FIOCRUZ-CE in Brazil on scientific projects related to digital health and public basic health, particularly among vulnerable populations in Brazilian communities. She has seventeen articles indexed in Scopus, including three Q1 articles published in 2022, two of which she authored as the principal author. In 2022, she co-founded the Portuguese startup UXVolution and the greatest strength of it is identifying points of innovation in digital health through Design practices.
