Lecturer and Researcher at ISMAT in Portimão. Director of the TRIE Transdisciplinary Research Center for Lusofona Education. His areas of interest and participation in European Projects range from Participatory Design & Nature-Based Solutions; Circular Economy & Biodesign; Design & Innovation. He is an expert at the Taskforce 6 – co-creation of Nature-Based Solutions of the European Commission and Director of Nature-Based Solutions HUB Portugal appointed by the EU NetworkNature. He believes in “Science for the Market” with more than 60 applied research projects implemented and his work as a senior innovation facilitator is recognized by his peers. He is also a national and international guest speaker on Design, Creativity, Innovation, Circularity and Nature-Based Solutions. His already research member for four European Projects consortiums and published more fifty scientific articles in conferences and indexed journals.
